Since that time I have had the opportunity to write copy for television, edit for broadcast, operate camera and do lighting and grip. That is where I found my calling.
I am a member of the I.A.T.S.E. 484 Studio Mechanics Union and I am currently classified as a Key Grip, Dolly Grip, Rigger and Electrician.
I have a class A CDL drivers license and I'm an A.S.E certified mechanic. My experience as a D.O.T. inspector and trainer have allowed me to assist many other individuals in obtaining their C.D.L. license. I own just about everything you need for rigging cameras on structures, including moving vehicles.
My work ethic and safety record are very strong and to aid in developing my skills in the trade I am also trained and current with all OSHA and ANSI guidelines and regulations.
I've had formal training with J.L. Fisher and Chapman-Leonard as well as a variety of other manufacturer's jib arms. I can operate or assist with crane and dolly moves from the very simple to the compound and complex.
I'm factory trained on all industry related generators and power plants ranging from Litepower to Crawford, E&E, MQ Power as well as Young Generators and even the little Honda plants.
My skills apply to more than just grip or electric work. I am well versed as a light duty equipment operator and a generator operator.
I'm more than happy to share any information I have and do whatever research may be needed in order to get the job done correctly."
